13-Year-Old Boy Beaten to Death for Playing Mobile Games in Cachar District

Guwahati: The incident that occurred in Assam's Cachar district on March 22 was a tragic event that resulted in the death of a 13-year-old boy, Panna Nath. According to sources, Panna was playing video games on his mobile phone at a neighbor's house when the accused, Deepak Nath, asked him to stop. An argument broke out between the two, and the situation quickly turned violent.

Panna's family claimed that Deepak Nath pursued Panna and brutally beat him. Panna's mother arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and took him to Borkhola hospital, where he was in critical condition. However, the hospital staff transferred him to Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for more advanced care. Unfortunately, when he arrived at SMCH, the doctors declared him dead.

After the incident, Panna's father filed a complaint against Deepak Nath at the Borkhola Police Station, accusing him of killing his child. An investigation into the incident has commenced based on the complaint that was filed. The event has caused a lot of controversy in the community, as the death of a child due to violence is an unfortunate and unacceptable tragedy.
