| Mike Mignola and Brian Taylor Team Up For Yet Another Hellboy Reboot |
WA Entertainment: Despite the disappointing box office performance of the most recent Hellboy film, it has been announced that the franchise will be rebooted once again. The latest film will be based on the comic book storyline of The Crooked Man, with Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden writing the script and Brian Taylor directing.
The story follows Hellboy and a rookie BPRD agent as they become stranded in 1950s rural Appalachia, where they encounter a community haunted by witches and led by a devil named The Crooked Man. Filming is set to begin next month in Bulgaria, and Millennium Films is hoping that this new film will be the first in a successful franchise.
Despite the excitement for this new reboot, some fans still question why Guillermo del Toro hasn't been given the opportunity to finish his own trilogy.
